Indianapolis Fly Casters

fly fishing Indiana and the world

46 Years of fly fishing friendships !
The Indianapolis Fly Casters is a social club for men with an interest in fly fishing.  We are  a bunch of guys, from all walks of life, with all levels of abilities, who love fly fishing, fly tying, rod building and all its aspects.

We meet monthly on the second Wednesday (except August) in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The festivities start at 6:00 pm with a general "bull session" of just mingling and catching up on the latest fishing stories or perhaps tying some flies.  Around 7:00 we share a nice meal together and have a short business meeting.  This is followed by a variety of guest speakers. Dave Whitlock, Tim Holschlag, Jerry Darkes, Fishy Fulham, and many other guides, experts, or conservationists have spoken at our meetings. We are usually on our way home by 9:00 or so.

The club is an excellent opportunity to meet fellow anglers, arrange fishing trips, tie flies, learn to cast, increase your knowledge of fly fishing and have a great time while doing it.  If this sounds like something that might interest you, please fill out and submit the application located on the "Membership Application" page of this site, or you can just drop in for one of our meetings and introduce yourself as a prospective member.  The yearly membership fee is $35.
